About Me
I understand approaching a counsellor for the first time can be daunting. From the outset I offer a confidential, non-judgemental, safe and secure environment in which you can express your feelings and gain deeper insight into any difficulties you may be experiencing. If you are unsure, or you have any questions about accessing counselling, we can have a brief talk prior to committing to accessing sessions. I will aim to support you to feel at ease in taking this first step.
I am a qualified counsellor, accredited and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have 13 years experience working with adults with a wide range of presenting concerns including bereavement and loss, depression, stress and anxiety, trauma, obsessive behaviours, relationship difficulties, transition and major life changes, low self-esteem and self-worth.

Counselling Service
Counselling offers an environment in which you can express your feelings and gain deeper insight into any difficulties you might be experiencing. Counselling is confidential and non-judgemental and offers a space where your thoughts and feelings are heard and acknowledged.
Workplace Support
Educational Sector
Education continues to be increasingly target focused with staff and children exposed to frequent assessment against rigid control measures. Paradoxically, the school environment exposes staff to children and families with complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Meeting performance management targets in such a fluid environment is extremely challenging, in addition to dealing with additional complexities resulting from COVID-19.
Care Homes
Working within the adult care sector is a rewarding and fulfilling career but there are times when additional support is needed to maintain the wellbeing of those most affected by its challenges and demands. Recently, care home staff have dealt with unprecedented amounts of additional worry, stress and anxiety as have residents, friends and the families of those in care.
